New Hampshire betting revenue declines in December
New Hampshire’s betting revenue for December reached $2.6m, down 42.2 per cent from December of 2020.
US.- New Hampshire has reported gross gaming revenue of $2.6m for December, 42.2 per cent lower than the $4.5m reported in December 2020 and 58.1 per cent lower than November 2021’s record $6.2m. It was the lowest monthly total since $1.6m in August 2021.
However, Player spending was up, with the sports betting handle up 67.4 per cent year-on-year to $86.4m. That’s also a month-on-month increase of 2.9 per cent from November 2021, but 12 per cent off the $98.2m record set in October.
DraftKings mobile sportsbook took the majority of bets with $65.6m, while $20.9m was wagered at the operator’s three retail betting facilities in New Hampshire. Mobile sports betting was responsible for $2.4m of overall revenue, with the remaining $198,534 coming from retail sportsbooks.
Sports wagering tax for the month amounted to $1.1m, with $1.06m coming from mobile activities and $82,408 retail. For the financial year-to-date, the handle for the six months to the end of December 2021 was $409m, while gross gaming revenue reached $23.3m.
