Nepal casino to open in March

The Tiger Palace Resort Bhairahawa will have its inauguration ceremony next March 16, Silver Heritage Group announced.

Nepal.- It was recently confirmed that Silver Heritage Group Ltd will open its new casino in Nepal and has set the date for its inauguration. The Tiger Palace Resort Bhairahawa will celebrate starting its operations with a “grand opening celebration event” next March 16, its owner revealed.

“The casino had visitation of over 660 patrons and over 120 guests stayed at the hotel that night. Participation in the event was ahead of management’s expectations, with the casino receiving over 50 per cent more patrons than the New Year’s Eve event,” said the company in a filing to the Australian Securities Exchange.

The venue had already started operating on December 28, the very same day it received its gaming licence, after several delays during the construction work. However, it didn’t have its proper inauguration ceremony, which will take place next March 16.

Furthermore, Silver Heritage also revealed it has generated a total unaudited sales revenue of US$5.44 million during the 4Q of 2017, increasing from the previous quarter’s US$4.6 million. “It is the strongest quarterly sales revenue since the company’s initial public offering in August 2016,” the company stated.
