Mohegan names Scott Schuman as vice president of corporate finance

Schuman will lead corporate finance functions, including FP&A, capital markets, treasury, investor relations and strategic planning.

US.- Mohegan has announced the appointment of Scott Schuman as its new vice president of corporate finance. He will lead key corporate finance functions including FP&A, capital markets, treasury, investor relations and strategic planning.

The company said Schuman brings “a proven track record of financial leadership across global entertainment, media, and consumer technology, with deep expertise in translating complex financial analysis into actionable strategy.” He joins Mohegan from IMAX Corporation, where he most recently served as vice president and head of financial planning & analysis (FP&A). Previously, he held senior finance positions at NBCUniversal and Samsung Electronics America.

Schuman holds a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University, a Master of Accounting from the University of Notre Dame, and an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.

Ari Glazer, chief financial officer for Mohegan, said: “Scott steps into this role at a pivotal time for Mohegan. He will immediately elevate the way we support stakeholders, sharpen strategic analysis and ensure clear communication of our financial performance and outlook. His experience driving financial rigor in complex, high-growth environments makes him an exceptional addition to our leadership team.”

In January, Mohegan announced the promotion of Guy Greene to chief marketing officer (CMO) for its igaming division, Mohegan Digital. The company has appointed Joe Soper as vice president of sports and entertainment.
