Mississippi casino revenue decreases year-over-year in May
Adjusted gross gaming revenue was $217.9m, down 2.6 per cent.
US.- The Mississippi Gaming Commission (MGC) has released its gaming report for May. Casinos generated $217.9m in adjusted gross gaming revenue, down 2.6 per cent year-over-year, but up from $196m from April.
MGC reported that the Coastal region accounted for most of the total revenue, generating $143.8m, down from $129.5m in April. The Central region reported $28.9m in revenue, a decrease from $26.6m, and the Northern region $45.1m in revenue, down from $40m.
In the first five months of 2026, adjusted gross gaming revenue totalled $1.017bn. The Coastal region generated $679.3m, the Central region $136.4m, and the Northern region $202m.
