Michigan online gaming revenue reaches $346.13m in July
Online gaming activity generated more than $321m in adjusted gross receipts during the month.
US.- Michigan’s commercial and tribal operators reported $346.13m in combined gross receipts from igaming and online sports betting in July, up 1.4 per cent from June.
Igaming generated $ 302.77m in gross receipts and online sports betting $43.36m. Combined adjusted gross receipts totalled $321.42m: $ 290.65m from igaming and $30.77m from sports betting, up 0.5 per cent and 52.7 respectively.
Operators paid $63.3m in state taxes and fees: $ 61.2m from igaming and $ 2.1m from online sports betting. The three Detroit casinos also paid $14.09m in wagering taxes and municipal service fees to the city, while tribal operators reported $8.4m in payments to their governing bodies.
As of July, 15 commercial and tribal operators were authorised to offer igaming and/or online sports betting in Michigan. All 15 offered igaming, while 13 also offered online sports betting.
