Michigan igaming revenue rises in October
The combined gross receipts from igaming and online sports betting increased 16.4 per cent from September.
US.- Michigan’s commercial and tribal online gaming operators reported a combined $352.3m in gross receipts from igaming and online sports betting in October. That’s a 16.4 per cent increase from September 2025.
The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) reported that the online sports betting handle was $605.9m, up 15.6 per cent from the previous month. Igaming gross receipts were $278.5m, the highest to date. Gross sports betting receipts were $73.8m, up from September’s $43.6m.
Combined adjusted gross receipts (AGR) for igaming and online sports betting reached $310.9m. Of the total, $261.7m came from igaming, and $49.2m from online sports betting.
Operators reported submitting $58m in state taxes and payments. Detroit’s three commercial casinos reported $15m in wagering taxes and municipal services fees paid to the City of Detroit, and Tribal operators reported $6.5m in payments to governing bodies.
Year-over-year, igaming AGR is up by 31.8 per cent and sports betting AGR by $39.4m.
The MGCB recently issued cease-and-desist letters to three online gaming platforms after determining that they were operating illegally in the state. The action directs each operator to immediately stop offering online gaming to residents.
