Miccosukee Casino & Resort to host groundbreaking ceremony for renovation project
The event will be held on October 23 in the resort’s courtyard.
US.- The Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida will host a groundbreaking ceremony at Miccosukee Casino & Resort for a $40m renovation project. The event will be held on October 23 in the resort’s courtyard.
Tribal leadership, casino executives, and project partners will participate in the event. Community members, dignitaries, and media are also invited.
The groundbreaking ceremony will mark the start of the next phase of the resort’s expansion and development. Renovations include a pool and lazy river, an entertainment facility and supporting infrastructure upgrades. Work will be done with Arcadis, EDSA, Dade Construction and Martin Aquatic.

Lucas Osceola, assistant chairman of the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida, said: “This is a tremendous milestone for the tribe and for our team. Our tribe continues to invest in the community and our people – creating new ways for guests to experience our hospitality, culture, and entertainment. These projects represent progress, pride, and the next step in a much larger vision for Miccosukee’s future.”
In December, the resort opened a new High-Limit Slots & VIP Lounge. The new area is located near the main casino entrance and features 58 high-limit slot machines, a full-service bar, and personalised services. The VIP Lounge is reserved for the top tiers of the firm’s loyalty programme, M Sphere Rewards.
