MGM National Harbor opens new gaming area
The Maryland venue has opened 2,400-square-foot of gaming space for the Ultimate Fire Link brand.
US.- MGM National Harbor in Maryland has opened 2,400-square-foot of gaming space dedicated to the Ultimate Fire Link brand. The area is the first of its kind within MGM Resorts International’s portfolio.
The Ultimate Fire Link Zone features 48 slot machines. It is located on the casino floor near the entrance, from the Conservatory.
Alex Alvarado, MGM National Harbor’s vice president of casino operations, said: “We are thrilled to welcome guests to the Ultimate Fire Link Zone, one of the DMV’s most unique gaming venues. This new space aligns with our continuous efforts to deliver a one-of-a-kind gaming experience for our guests.”
In May, Maryland’s six casinos generated $176.4m in gaming revenue, up 1.9 per cent compared to May 2024 and 8.5 per cent from April. The rise comes after decreases in March and April
The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Commission reported that MGM National Harbor generated $75.4m. It was followed by Live! Casino & Hotel, with $63.8m. Horseshoe Casino Baltimore generated $15.2m, Hollywood Casino Perryville $8.3m, Ocean Downs Casino $8.7m and Rocky Gap Casino $4.9m.
