MGM to operate differently post Coronavirus crisis
President Bill Hornbuckle has outlined changes to cleaning procedures and the layout of its gaming floors.
US.- MGM Resorts International President, Bill Hornbuckle, has broadcast a video explaining how the company will operate differently once it can reopen its casinos and properties following the Coronavirus crisis.
Although he did not provide specific details about the changes, Hornbuckle said that the company will introduce new cleaning procedures, rules about how staff greet guests as well as the layout of its casino floors.
“It’s not easy to face a catastrophic and unprecedented event like this. It’s especially hard because the history of this pandemic has yet to be written,” he said.
According to the Review Journal, Hornbuckle said that the hospitality industry will “likely change in the foreseeable future,” and the changes it was making would allow the company to have the “best resources” to operate successfully.
“We have to consider every aspect of our business so we can welcome our guests safely and keep each other safe while we do it,” Hornbuckle added.
