The resort has inaugurated its Stadium 66 Sports Bar.
US.- Route 66 Casino Hotel in New Mexico has opened its Stadium 66 Sports Bar, a renovated dining, bar and sports betting space. The new area features a Caesars Sportsbook, with five betting kiosks and five live betting windows.
The bar has 250 seats and features nearly 40 high-definition TVs, a 20-foot-long bar, a stage, and a restaurant, which offers a renovated menu. It created 36 new jobs.
Route 66 Casino Hotel general manager Adrian Fox said: “The team at Route 66 is incredibly excited to finally open Stadium 66 Sports Bar and sportsbook after months of menu development, service training, food and drink testing, and event planning,”
Gary Murrey, the COO for Laguna Development Corp, added: “It’s exciting. We’ve felt a need from our guests to have that space available. It was designed for those game enthusiasts, and it offers the best food and beverage experience.”
The resort opened in 2003 and a 154-room hotel was added in 2007. Laguna Development Corporation, owned by the Pueblo of Laguna, manages and operates the casino. In May 2024, Laguna announced a partnership with Caesars for the sportsbook.
