Merkur stars at Kiev Live expo
The gaming industry’s long-awaited return to LIVE trade shows arrived with the opening of the Gaming Industry Expo, being held in Pavilion 1 of the International Exhibition Centre in the Ukraine’s capital city Kiev.
Press release.- Merkur Gaming was the undoubted star attraction as visitors thronged to see the latest gaming attractions that will shape the future success of the country’s gaming industry in the International Exhibition Centre at Kiev.
Speaking live from Kiev, Merkur’s Chief Executive, International, ‘Sakis’ Isaakidis, was full of praise for the massive efforts that had been made to bring the show to reality. He said:
“Right now it is still quite early in the show’s first day and while we would expect the really big numbers of visitors to
arrive within the next couple of hours the feeling is already just fantastic.
“We are back, live shows are back and visitors, customers and business partners are back! This marks the re-opening of the industry, live and in action, and it gives us all a very real expectation that better times are coming.”
Merkur, together with local technical, logistical, and sales support provided by the Kiev based company MSL, had gone all out to provide a highly visible show of support to the re-opening Ukrainian gaming industry with an impressive booth packed with the very latest top-class games, cabinets, jackpot solutions, and multiplayer equipment.
Many games were presented in Ukrainian language and, in fact, many games were being seen for the very first time; making this Kiev show an international premiere product launch.
Back to Sakis Isaakidis: “Here in Kiev we have leveraged Merkur’s experience and success throughout the Baltic region and it is great to see the hugely positive reaction from decision-makers and influential figures from the operational sector as they viewed our latest products.
“There is still a long way to go for Ukraine’s industry to be fully functional but all the signs are that rapid progress will be made shortly.
“I just want to say a big thank you to MSL and the Merkur team and the show’s organization for making this event happen. The weather outside may be a little suspect but here, inside, the Merkur Sun is shining brightly and the future for Ukrainian gaming looks extremely positive.”
