Massachusetts gaming revenue declines in September
Gross gaming revenue at the three casinos was $95.69m, down 8.9 per cent from August.
US.- The Massachusetts Gaming Commission has reported that Plainridge Park Casino (PPC), MGM Springfield (MGM), and Encore Boston Harbor (EBH) generated $95.69m in gross gaming revenue (GGR) in September, down 8.9 per cent from August 2025.
Encore Boston Harbor took $59.1m in GGR, with $23.9m from table games and $35.2m from slots. MGM Springfield generated $22.3m, with $4.3m from table games and $18m from slots, and Plainridge Park Casino $14.3m from slots.
The seven online sports wagering licensees and the three in-person licensees generated $52.34m in taxable sports wagering revenue (TSWR). Retail licensees reported $386,916 and online licensees $51.9m. To date, the Commonwealth has collected $2.218bn in taxes and assessments from casinos and $339.15m from sports wagering operations.
