Maryland casino revenue increases in October

Revenue totalled $162.05m, up 1 per cent year-over-year.

US.- The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Commission has reported that the state’s six casinos generated $162.05m in revenue from slot machines and table games in October.  That’s an increase of 1 per cent year-over-year and 6.9 per cent from September.

MGM National Harbor led the market with $67.8m in revenue, down 1.9 per cent from the same month in 2024. Live! Casino & Hotel followed with $59.7m in revenue, up 1.7 per cent.

Horseshoe Casino reported $15.5m in revenue, an increase of 12.7 per cent, Ocean Downs Casino posted $8.1m, up 11.1 per cent, Hollywood Casino $6.4m, down 10.5 per cent, and Rocky Gap Casino $4.4m, an increase of 0.7 per cent from October 2024.

Casino gaming contributions to the state totalled $6.6m, an increase of 1.5 per cent year-over-year. That included $50.1m to the Education Trust Fund, up 1.4 per cent.

Through the first four months of fiscal year 2026, from July 1 through October 31, casino gaming revenue was $649.5m, down 2.1 per cent. Contributions to the state were $279.1m, down 1.4 per cent year-over-year.
