Canada.- Developer Gateway Casino & Entertainment has partnered with Marriott Hotel for the new Cascades Casino Delta, in British Columbia.

The new casino is located at the former Delta Town & Country Inn site. It will include a 40,000-square-foot gaming floor with up to 600 slot machines and 30 gaming tables, as well as a Match Eatery & Public House, a buffet and Atlas Steak + Fish restaurant.

Jeff Krivoshen of PR Hotels said: “We are very excited to be a part of this development, and to work with both Gateway and Marriott to bring this Delta hotel to the city.

“We are proud of this location, being only 15 minutes from Vancouver International Airport to the north, and 15 minutes from the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal to the south.”

Karl Miller of Meridian added: “This collaboration is expected to have significant positive impact on the City of Delta, and is sure to draw tourism, conferences and conventions from across British Columbia, Canada, and the United States.”

The BC Lottery Corporation approved the project three years ago, following Delta Council’s approval, but the provincial Ministry of Transportation didn’t sign the project until 2019. The outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic further delayed the casino´s construction.
