Lotto.com launches in Maine
Customers in the state can now order state lottery tickets on the platform.
US.- Lotto.com has announced that all Maine Lottery draw offerings are now available on its platform. Customers can order state lottery tickets for games including Powerball and Mega Millions. The platform was already live in the US states of Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio and Oregon.
According to the company, the state lottery has contributed more than $1.24bn to the Maine State Government’s General Fund since its inception in 1974, funding essential services like local school aid, higher education, health services, and more.
Thomas Metzger, CEO of Lotto.com, said: “Expanding into Maine, home to one of the country’s earliest state lotteries, is an exciting milestone for our team. Meanwhile, Milton Champion, executive director of the Maine Gambling Control Unit has issued a warning about illegal interactive gaming websites and applications. He reminded residents and visitors that online casino games are prohibited in Maine.
