Light & Wonder posts 13 per cent increase in Q3 revenue

US.- Light & Wonder has released its latest financial results for the third quarter of 2023. It reported gaming revenue of $465m, up 11 per cent compared to the prior year period. Growth was primarily driven by a 23 per cent rise in gaming machine sales in North America and international markets alongside continued momentum in gaming operations and table products.

iGaming revenue was $70m, up 21 per cent compared to the corresponding period last year. SciPlay achieved record revenue of $196m, a 15 per cent increase. In October, Light & Wonder completed its acquisition of the remaining 17 per cent equity interest in SciPlay Corporation that it did not previously own.

Matt Wilson, president and chief executive officer of Light & Wonder, said: “Our tremendous team at Light & Wonder continues to deliver exceptional results with double-digit growth across all three of our businesses for the fourth consecutive quarter. Additionally, we also reached two significant milestones, which included closing the SciPlay transaction and inclusion into the ASX 200 index in Australia.”

Light & Wonder and Caesars Digital to launch online casino games in Michigan

Light & Wonder has signed a deal with Caesars Digital to offer online casino games in Michigan. Light & Wonder will provide Caesars Palace Online Casino and Caesars Sportsbook & Casino with customised titles via its Playzido content platform, including a Caesars-branded version of HITSqwad Gaming’s Sweet 16 Blackjack game. Playzido gained a B2B licence from the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) in September.
