US.- Las Vegas will see a new casino open ahead of schedule this year despite the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
While some venues still remain closed due to the lockdown in the US, Las Vegas will see the opening of The Circa Resort and Casino on October 28, two months ahead of schedule.
The resort located in the historic Fremont Street has been developed by Derek Stevens and will employ 1,000 people.
According to press, Stevens reallocated construction resources from Circa’s hotel tower to the first five floors to speed up work towards opening. The 777 hotel rooms in the tower begin from the eighth floor up and will open at a later date.
Stevens already owns the D Las Vegas and Golden Gate Hotel and Casino. The Circa will have a two-storey casino and the world’s largest sportsbook with a 78-million-pixel screen and stadium-style seating to generate a watch party atmosphere for up to 1,000 customers. It will also have several pools and four restaurants.
The gaming floors will cover two stories and will house 1,350 slots and 49 tables.
