Kansas sports betting revenue decreases in May

Revenue declined 32.8 per cent year-on-year.

US.- The Kansas Lottery has reported that sports betting revenue in the state totalled $12.3m in May. That’s down 32.8 per cent year-on-year and down from $14.5m in April.

The handle was $168.1m, with $166.2m bet online and $2m at retail. DraftKings led the online market with a $65m handle and $6m revenue, followed by FanDuel with a $50.5m handle and $3.9m in revenue. BetMGM reported a $12.6m handle and $472,200 in revenue, and Bet365 $11.6m with revenue of $10,251.

In the retail sector, theScore led the market with a $944,601 handle and $161,007 in revenue. FanDuel reported $734,739 and $95,965, Caesars $161,364 and $13,874 and DraftKings $120,539 and $38,162.

Kansas casino revenue in May was $39.8m, an increase of 5.5 per cent year-on-year and up from $36m in April 2026. Kansas Star Casino led the market with $16.3m in revenue, an increase of 8 per cent from the same month in 2025. Hollywood Casino reported $15.5m, up 3.6 per cent, Boot Hill Casino $4.2m, up 6.6 per cent, and Kansas Crossing Casino $3.8m, an increase of 2.3 per cent.
