Kansas sports betting revenue decreases in January

Revenue decreased 6.2 per cent year-over-year and 31 per cent from December.

US.- The Kansas Lottery has reported that sports betting revenue in the state was $15.2m in January. That’s a 6.2 per cent decrease year-over-year and a 31 per cent decrease from December 2025.

The sports betting handle was $227.3m, down 24.7 per cent year-over-year. Of the total, $223.1m was bet online and $4.2m at retail locations.

DraftKings led the online market with a $97m handle and $6.7m in revenue, followed by FanDuel with a $62.7m handle and $4.6m in revenue. BetMGM reported a $25.6m handle and $1.2m in revenue.

theScore led the retail market with a $2.3m handle and $348,567 in revenue. FanDuel posted a $1.2m handle and $216,533 in revenue, and KS Crossing reported $554,543 and $66,221.

In January, casino revenue totalled $33.3m, an increase of 8.7 per cent year-over-year. Hollywood Casino led the market with $14.2m in revenue, up 9.6 per cent compared to the same period in 2025. Kansas Star Casino followed with $12.5m in revenue, an increase of 7.9 per cent, while Boot Hill Casino reported $3.5m, up 13.9 per cent year-over-year.
