Kansas casino revenue decreases in December

US.- The Kansas Lottery has released its report on casino gaming activity for December. Revenue was $36.6m, down 1.5 per cent year-over-year.
According to the report, Hollywood Casino led the market with $14.7m in revenue, down 2.1 per cent from the same month in 2024, and Kansas Star Casino followed with $14.4m, down 0.9 per cent. Boot Hill Casino posted $4m in revenue, a decrease of 3.7 per cent year-over-year. Kansas Crossing Casino was the only venue reporting a positive change with revenue of $3.6m, up 1.08 per cent.
For the fiscal year to December 31, total revenue was $215.3m, up 3.6 per cent compared to the same period in 2024.
Sports betting revenue totalled $22m in December. That’s an increase of 150 per cent year-over-year and a decrease of 26.7 per cent from November 2025.
The sports betting handle was $240.7m, down 7.9 per cent year-over-year. Of the total, $235.8m was bet online and $5 al retail locations. DraftKings led the online market with a $93.6m handle and $10.3m in revenue. In the retail market, theScore reported a $2.5m handle and $505,118 in revenue.
