Kaizen Gaming snaps up GameplAI in bid to to boost Betano brand

Greece.- Kaizen Gaming has announced the acquisition of GameplAI, an AI-powered sports trading and analytics provider, in a move designed to strengthen its Betano sports betting brand. The company said the deal is intended to boost Betano’s proprietary capabilities in sports trading, player markets and performance analytics through AI.
According to Kaizen, integrating GameplAI’s technology and expertise will “amplify its tier-one sportsbook experience” across global markets, while driving automation and improving risk management systems. The acquisition comes on the heels of Betano’s expansion into Ghana earlier this year, its second African market after Nigeria.
The operator is also now present in the UK, Colombia and Brazil. In the latter, it’s gained a leading market position aided by major sponsorships, including of the 2024 Copa América and Clube de Regatas do Flamengo.
GameplAI’s sportsbook solutions include micromarkets, player props and in-game parlays. It has previously worked with operators such as Betsson and Superbet. Under Kaizen’s ownership, the firm will retain control of its B2B operations, with its original team continuing to lead development.
Kaizen’s Chief Product Officer, Christos Tzalavras, described the acquisition as part of the company’s long-term strategy to invest in technology and enhance its sportsbook offering.
