Indiana sports betting revenue drops 31% month-on-month
Sports betting revenue in Indiana saw a 161.2 per cent increase year-on-year for July, but was down 31 per cent from June.
US.- The sports betting industry in Indiana posted $17.5m in revenue for July, up 161.2 per cent year-on-year, although 2020’s figures were affected by Covid-19 restrictions. Compared month-on-month, July’s revenue was down 31 per cent from $25.4m. The sports betting handle was down 21 per cent from June’s $246.3m.
FanDuel-powered Blue Chip Casino‘s sportsbook was the top performer in Indiana, posting $5.3m in revenue. Ameristar Casino came close behind, its DraftKings sportsbook raking $5.2m.
In terms of handle, the positions were inverse, with the latter seeing $66.6m and Blue Chip $54.8m. Hollywood Lawrenceburg‘s Barstool sportsbook took $2.4m in revenue from a $25.9m handle.
