Indiana casino revenue reaches $214.5m in October
The Indiana Gaming Commission has reported a 3.8 per cent increase from September figures.
US.- The Indiana Gaming Commission has released its monthly report showing casino revenue for October. The state’s thirteen casinos and racinos stopped a three-month revenue slide, posting nearly $214.5m in proceeds. Casino revenue couldn’t reach the $230.9m record set in July, but October’s figure represented a 3.8 per cent increase month over month and lift revenue over the $2bn mark for the calendar year.
Taxable revenue showed a 3.7 per cent increase from September’s figures, totalling more than $196.3m. Venues deducted a combined $12.8m in free play in October, with Horseshoe Hammond’s $2m the highest amount from any single location.
The state collected close to $44.4m in tax receipts from casino gaming, a figure which does not include sports wagering. Indiana’s casinos have generated $436.9m in state taxes through the first 10 months of 2021.
