Grand Prix Spin tournament: how Gamzix uses premium campaigns to attract VIPs
As each company traces its own road to success, Gamzix designed a strategy to keep its VIP clients entertained.
Press release.- In the igaming world, broad campaigns are great for volume, but VIPs are the real engine behind a casino’s revenue. While attracting new players matters, keeping your high-value segment engaged is what actually builds long-term profitability. That’s why a targeted, premium tournament is one of the most powerful levers an operator can pull.
Gamzix doesn’t just see VIP events as “prize giveaways”, they are treated as strategic tools for its partners. After the massive success of its Dubai Gateway in 2025, it is doubling down with a new initiative – Grand Prix Spin. This exclusive VIP tournament features a EUR 50,000 prize pool, Formula 1 tickets, and runs over one weekend, from April 2 to 4, 2026.
Gamzix‘s head of account management, Aleksandra Kozymir, breaks down exactly how VIP tournaments drive measurable results for operators, what was learnt from Dubai Gateway, and why Grand Prix Spin is built to deliver even stronger engagement across the top-player segment.
Dubai Gateway: A strong starting point

Gamzix’s Dubai Gateway VIP tournament set a strong benchmark for what this format can deliver. Running from November 21-23, 2025, the event offered a high-stakes choice between an exclusive luxury trip to Dubai or a EUR 50,000 cash alternative.
The industry response was highly engaging, drawing in over 200 operators and 4,000 high-value participants in less than 72 hours. This massive turnout confirms that the appetite for VIP-specific content is stronger than ever across global markets.
“The real story, however, lies in the revenue impact. During the tournament, we saw a measurable surge in how players engaged with our games, with the average bet size jumping by 30 per cent across the entire Gamzix portfolio. For participating operators, the results were even more dramatic, as the average bet size nearly doubled during the event,” the company said.

Grand Prix Spin: Upcoming F1 tournament
Building on the momentum of Dubai Gateway, it is shifting gears with Grand Prix Spin, a VIP concept that blends elite competition with the prestige of Formula 1. It has kept the premium tournament DNA but fine-tuned the mechanics to boost player turnout and make the operators’ lives much easier.
F1 tickets as an exclusive add-on reward. Grand Prix Spin tournament features a EUR 50,000 cash prize pool but adds a premium layer: the top winner takes home two exclusive F1 tickets as an additional gift.
Sum of Wins instead of Win-to-Bet. For Grand Prix Spin, the company is moving from the Win-to-Bet format used in Dubai Gateway to a Sum of Wins leaderboard, as it is better suited to VIP play patterns.
Lower minimum bet to broaden participation. One of the key changes is a lower minimum bet of EUR 3, compared to EUR 5 in Dubai Gateway, allowing more players to take part and helping operators activate a wider high-value audience.
Updated Game Lineup. The tournament will also feature a different game selection from Dubai Gateway, including 3×5: Hold The Spin, 3×5 Joker: Hold The Spin, and 3×5 Royal Piggy: Hold The Spin. All included titles use a mobile-friendly 3×5 format, the proven Hold the Spin mechanic, and feature popular, instantly recognisable themes such as fruits, jokers, and pigs & coins.
The company added: “Interested in joining the new Gamzix’s Grand Prix Spin tournament? Get in touch with our account management team via [email protected] to receive integration details, the promotional asset pack, and recommended launch mechanics.”
