Speed, scale, and retention: What powers the Gamzix-NuxGame partnership
Gamzix Partnership Manager Arpine Sargsyan and NuxGame Casino Director Alexey Melnychenko discuss scalability and technical stability in this exclusive Focus Gaming News interview regarding evolving igaming provider-aggregator partnerships.
Exclusive interview.- The igaming industry moves at a different speed in 2026. New markets open faster, player expectations grow higher. Content libraries expand into the thousands. But with scale comes a new challenge: how to stay fast, stable, and visible at the same time.
The main question for operators today is “Who helps me expand into new markets without new integrations?” For providers, the challenge is equally complex: how to maintain strong performance across dozens of brands, different regions, and growing traffic volumes, while keeping retention high and operations simple.
The relationship between a game provider and an online casino aggregator grows beyond a mere distribution agreement these days. It becomes a shared growth engine.
In this exclusive conversation with Focus Gaming News, Gamzix’s partnership manager, Arpine Sargsyan, and NuxGame’s casino director, Alexey Melnychenko, discuss how speed, scalability, promotional mechanics, and technical discipline define their partnership, and what this model means for 2026 and beyond.
The Gamzix-NuxGame collaboration began in 2024. From your perspective, what defines a productive provider-aggregator partnership in its early stages?
Arpine Sargsyan: A strong partnership is built on a structured process and clear alignment. When we are aligned on timelines, responsibilities, and positioning, growth becomes a natural outcome of the system rather than a one-off effort.
The results speak for themselves: our aggregated performance across the network has grown approximately 7x year-on-year. We expect further uplift as NuxGame continues to expand its operator lineup in the coming quarters, reinforcing that we are building in the right direction.
From a provider’s perspective, what is often misunderstood about the role of aggregators in long-term content strategy?
Arpine Sargsyan: Aggregators do a tremendous job in driving scalability and simplifying market expansion by providing a streamlined, single-integration framework. They represent a powerful infrastructure layer that enables speed and scale, unlocking access to a broad portfolio while significantly reducing the technical burden when expanding into new brands or markets.
At the same time, strong performance does not eliminate the need for close provider–operator collaboration. The best results are achieved when the aggregator manages distribution and operational complexity, while we, as the provider, focus on game performance, strategic positioning, and long-term player engagement.
In fast-growing markets where timing defines competitiveness, how does your integration model help providers like Gamzix move from technical readiness to live deployment efficiently?
Alexey Melnychenko: Our unified API model is designed to eliminate technical friction for the operator. Once the initial integration is complete, no further action is required from their side to access new content. We handle all logic updates and provider maintenance internally. This means that on the day of a Gamzix release, the games go live automatically. Our infrastructure is built for seamless scalability, allowing operators to focus on growth while we ensure that every new feature is instantly available through the existing technical framework.
Within an aggregator environment, what determines whether a game portfolio scales effectively across multiple operators?
Arpine Sargsyan: Scalability comes down to two main factors: quality and promotion. Games perform best when they’re lightweight, fully mobile-optimised, and meet all market needs, ensuring smooth launches across operators.
Promotion is equally important. By providing compact promotional packages along with a variety of themes and mechanics, we ensure each release aligns with operator strategies while keeping the game selection fresh and engaging.
The goal is simple: unique releases that let operators focus on growth while we handle the technical and operational side.
As promotional tools gain importance, how can provider-aggregator integrations ensure effective mechanics without increasing operational burden for casinos?
Arpine Sargsyan: Promotions are an integrated feature delivered via a single API, ready to use for operators. Once implemented, features like free spins and tournaments are available with a single click. We handle the setup and execution, allowing operators to focus on growth rather than configuration.
This technical alignment with NuxGame enables operators to launch high-value promotional tools instantly with minimal technical effort.
In 2025, we launched our first year-long network tournament, Spin-o-Mania. Its success demonstrated that network tournaments can be both highly effective and easy to manage.
Building on that experience, our new Spin Express tournament is already live, introducing updated features and enhanced technical capabilities to further improve player engagement.
As aggregator networks expand and traffic volumes increase, what technical discipline is required on both sides to maintain stability?
Arpine Sargsyan: Maintaining stability in a growing aggregator network requires proactive technical discipline on both sides. At Gamzix, we ensure technical support remains top-priority regardless of traffic volume. In fact, as traffic increases, our monitoring and daily check-ups become more frequent to catch and resolve potential issues before they affect performance. By combining automated monitoring, rigorous testing, and hands-on support, we ensure smooth operations and consistent player experiences, no matter how large the network grows.
Alexey Melnychenko: We agree: as traffic grows, stability must become even stronger and more proactive. Stability is maintained through a combination of 24/7 expert monitoring and a high-performance infrastructure using Kubernetes and Aurora for automated scaling. We prioritise proactive discipline: conducting regular stress and load testing, alongside daily automated API health checks. This multi-layered approach, backed by instant notification systems, ensures that whether the challenge is at the code or infrastructure level, we resolve it before it impacts the end-user experience.
With portfolios expanding into the thousands of titles, how should aggregators approach content curation to balance scale with performance visibility?
Alexey Melnychenko: We provide operators with localised Top performers lists tailored to their specific markets and utilise an internal rating system to highlight high-potential content. Post-integration, our analytics team works closely with operator data to make sure that new partners like Gamzix receive the visibility they deserve, placing the right games in front of the right players at the right time.
Aggregators see cross-operator trends, while providers analyse player-level behaviour. How can these data layers complement each other without overcomplicating decision-making?
Alexey Melnychenko: We act as the bridge between player-level behaviour and macro-market trends. By sharing granular operator insights with our partners, we help providers like Gamzix fine-tune their offerings for maximum efficiency. This collaborative data layer allows us to analyse not just what is being played, but why, leading to more informed decisions on game placement and promotional strategies without overcomplicating the operational workflow.
How do you see your provider-aggregator relationship evolving over the next two years?
Arpine Sargsyan: Our relationship is evolving into an even stronger, long-term partnership focused on sustainable growth. Over the next two years, we aim to expand our collaboration by increasing the number of operators and markets we reach together, while continuously optimising game performance and engagement. By aligning on strategy, technical excellence, and promotional initiatives, we expect to create a scalable ecosystem that delivers consistent value for both sides and drives long-term success.
Alexey Melnychenko: We see it the same way: growth must be long-term and built together. Over the next two years, we see our relationship with Gamzix maturing into a deeper strategic alliance. As NuxGame expands into new regulated markets and strengthens its global footprint, we aim to leverage this partnership for large-scale exclusive promotional campaigns and deeper technical synergies. Our goal is to grow together, utilising Gamzix’s innovative content to capture larger market shares.
