Goran Sovilj, global sales director at Spintec, spoke to Focus Gaming News about the company’s participation at IGA.

Exclusive interview.- Spintec was present at the latest edition of the Indian Gaming Tradeshow and Convention (IGA), which took place from 31 March to 3 April. There, the company showcased its latest innovations and held fruitful meetings with various operators.

To find out more about Spintec’s experience at this year’s IGA, Focus Gaming News spoke to Goran Sovilj, global sales director, who shared the following impressions.

How was Spintec’s experience at IGA this year? What were the key highlights of the event for your team?

IGA was a fantastic experience for us, we were excited to be back. We really appreciate the opportunity that IGA offers to reconnect with our partners and introduce ourselves to potential new clients. We showed the new Charisma Roulette with our proprietary Galactic Spin game and the engagement was excellent. We also showcased the Blackjack solution that features a virtual croupier and five exciting side bets. Our craps solution is always a crowd pleaser: this year even more so, as it was shown with new signage, refined user interface, a shooter button, and a host of additional features. We were very happy with the response, as it was overwhelmingly positive across the board.

Which of Spintec’s products or solutions generated the most interest among attendees, and what feedback did you receive from operators?

Our Charisma multigame solutions were the unrivalled stars of the show, especially following their recognition by Eilers as the #1 best-performing ETG multigame in the US. The quality of our cabinets stood out the most, but also the intuitive interface design, and the ergonomic layout that enhances player comfort. The operators also showed a lot of interest in the new Galactic Spin Roulette and gave us strong positive feedback on the versatility of our configurations, the wide range of games available, and the engaging selection of side bets. Overall, the feedback confirmed that our solutions often exceed market expectations.

The tribal gaming market in North America is a key focus at IGA. How does Spintec tailor its offerings to meet the specific needs of this segment?

Tribal operators have a clear set of requirements, and we are continuously evolving our products to meet their expectations. Our latest enhancements are designed explicitly to maximise operational efficiency and player engagement, which are two of their most emphasised requests. The tribal gaming market also recognised our Tournament Mode as a perfect solution for their needs. It offers an engaging way to introduce players to table games in a fun, low-pressure environment, while also offering exciting rewards that drive continuous play and create a new customer base for the venue. All of this is possible with a high level of localised support through our exclusive US partner, Dynamic Gaming Solutions, whose commitment to customer service is a key asset in this market.

Did you notice any emerging trends or new demands from operators at the show that could shape the future of electronic table games (ETGs)?

We did, yes. There is a growing demand for compact ETG setups and hybrid solutions that blend the excitement of live dealers with the efficiency of ETG terminals. Casino floor square footage is priceless and limited, so optimisation is essential. Our solutions respond to this by automating live table games and helping reduce staffing challenges. At the same time, we offer a wider variety of games, features, and jackpots, which enhances the overall player experience. We believe that this kind of smart, flexible optimisation is a key driver in shaping the future of ETGs.

Networking is a big part of industry events like IGA. Were there any significant new partnerships or business opportunities that emerged from this year’s show?

Absolutely. IGA continues to be a strong platform for building meaningful relationships. While we can’t disclose specifics just yet, we had several promising discussions with operators that we’re currently following up on. It’s clear there’s strong momentum behind expanding our footprint in North America, and the show helped accelerate that.

Looking ahead, what are Spintec’s main goals following IGA? How do you see the company’s growth in the North American market evolving?

Our primary goal is to continue expanding our presence in both tribal and commercial markets across the US Securing licenses in an increasing number of states is the first step towards that goal. At present, our latest products and games are licensed and approved in ten states, with approvals in five more states expected shortly. By the time the next IGA comes around, we anticipate being licensed in 20 states. This will significantly increase our availability to operators and customers across the country. We’re excited about the momentum and look forward to returning next year with an even stronger market presence and an expanded portfolio to showcase.
