The Malta-based igaming operator Glitnor Group will pay an undisclosed sum for the affiliate business.

Malta.- The Malta-based igaming operator and provider Glitnor Group has acquired affiliate business KaFe Rocks. The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.

Glitnor Group, whose brands include Lucky Casino and Gambola, said the acquisition would lead its entry into lead generation to complement its B2C online casino brands and its B2B business. KaFe Rocks’ brands include time2play.com and US-focused USCasinos.com.

Day-to-day management of KaFe Rocks activity is expected to remain unchanged, and its team of 170 “rocketeers” based in Malta will join Glitnor’s ranks. KaFe Rocks co-founder Feda Mecan will become a director on Glitnor Group’s board, and KaFe Rocks CEO Simon Pilkington will join Glitnor’s executive management team.

Glitnor Group CEO David Flynn said: “Glitnor is not shy about its ambitions to become a leading iGaming group and the acquisition of KaFe Rocks and our move into the lead generation space is evidence of this.

“In KaFe Rocks we have an established business being run by an incredibly talented team that owns and operates a network of successful, reputable affiliate assets that will drive growth for the wider group.”

KaFe Rocks co-founder and chairman Tim Tepass added: “At the heart of KaFe Rocks’ success is its people. For us as the owners of KaFe Rocks it’s been imperative that we look to accelerate growth through finding the right people to work with going forwards, and in David and his fantastic team at Glitnor Group we are adamant we’ve found just that.”
