Missouri sports betting handle falls to $246.8m in July
Taxable revenue jumped 59.4 per cent to $21.8m as wagering volume hit its lowest level since the market launched.
US.- The Missouri Gaming Commission has reported that the state’s sports betting was $246.8m in July. That’s 4.5 per cent less than in June and the lowest total since sports betting began in the state in December 2025.
Sportsbooks handled 5.7 million bets. Mobile sportsbooks accounted for $243.5m, or 98.7 per cent of the handle and retail sportsbooks $3.3m. Taxable adjusted gross revenue reached $21.8m, a 59.4 per cent increase from June, with the hold percentage 8.83 per cent compared to 5.29 per cent in June. Sport betting tax proceeds reached $2.2m, up 59.5 per cent month-on-month.
DraftKings led the market with a $108.8m handle, up 5.2 per cent sequentially. FanDuel followed with $66.8m, down 12.4 per. Bet365 generated of $21.3m, followed by Fanatics at $16.8m and BetMGM at $16.7m.
Major League Baseball accounted for $135.2m of the betting handle. Multi-leg parlays contributed $79.6m and soccer $36.9m.
