GeoComply donates $200,000 to Conscious Gaming
The funds will assist the organisation in its quest to build scale and help in the deployment of PlayPause.
US.- The igaming compliance technology provider GeoComply has donated $200,000 to Conscious Gaming, the organisation it founded to promote responsible gaming.
Conscious Gaming was set up by GeoComply as an independent non-profit organisation aiming to align the responsible gaming needs of all stakeholders in the industry.
The funds will assist the body in its quest to build scale in order to tackle responsible gaming challenges in the US.
The money will also be used to help in the deployment of PlayPause, the organisation’s multi-state self-exclusion tool.
GeoComply’s chairman and co-founder, Anna Sainsbury, said in a statement: “We have been very fortunate at GeoComply to have a front seat to the growth of the igaming industry across the United States over the past decade.
“We recognise with this growth comes challenges and GeoComply is proud to commit funding to Conscious Gaming to help the industry fulfil its responsibilities and obligations to responsible gaming and a safe environment for players.”
Other companies making recent commitments to responsible gambling include Elys Game Technology Corp, which recently joined the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG).
