Elys joins National Council on Problem Gambling
Elys will strengthen its prevention, treatment, education and research programs around problem gambling by joining NCPG.
US.- Online gambling operator and supplier Elys Game Technology Corp has joined the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG).
The company, formerly known as Newgioco Group, will work with the NCPG to internally incorporate the association’s responsible gaming practices.
The NCPG is a US-based non-governmental organisation which serves as an advocate for programs and services to assist individuals and families affected by problem gambling.
With its help, Elys will strengthen its problem gambling prevention, treatment, education and research programs as well as its responsible gambling policies.
Elys executive chairman, Michele Ciavarella, said: “There is no bigger responsibility for us than ensuring the best and safest possible experience for our gambling operators and their players, while providing assistance for those individuals who show signs of problem gambling behaviour.
“Partnering with NCPG further deepens our commitment to become a leader in responsible gaming and provides us valuable resources as we are preparing for the launch of our sports betting platform in the US.”
Michele Ciavarella formerly worked as Elys’ chief executive officer but was replaced on 1 January by Matteo Monteverdi.
