Genting starts Glasgow casino revamp
Genting UK has started the £1.6 million revamp of its Glasgow facility Genting Casino Glasgow.
Scotland.- Genting UK has officially started the £1.6 million revamp of its Glasgow casino, which is likely to be completed by the end of November. Genting Casino Glasgow is one of Scotland’s most popular gaming venues.
Genting UK said that work on the facility is currently underway and that there will be no changes to the day-to-day operations. As part of the refurbishment, the gaming facilities will be renovated and will end up with more space. The Glasgow casino will also feature 20 more slot machines and ten electronic gaming terminals. It will also revamp the mahjong room.
The casino will feature Chinese themed restaurants, furniture and decor. It will add three karaoke rooms with Asian-style decorations. Moreover, it will add a new city centre meeting room.
Iain Gardiner, general manager at Genting Casino Glasgow, stated: “We’re making a significant investment in the Glasgow casino to ensure our customers can enjoy the best gaming experience available. We have an extremely strong relationship with the Chinese community in the city and it’s great to acknowledge those links as part of the refurbishment.”
