Fubo Gaming partners with Cleveland Cavaliers
The deal marks the betting subsidiary’s first agreement with an NBA team.
US.- Fubo Gaming, the betting subsidiary of the sports streaming service fuboTV has partnered with National Basketball Association (NBA) team the Cleveland Cavaliers. The agreement marks Fubo Gaming’s first agreement with an NBA team.
The deal allows Fubo to gain brand awareness in Ohio ahead of potential sports betting legalisation. Fubo Gaming expects to launch its Fubo Sportsbook in the fourth quarter subject to regulatory approvals.
The Fubo Gaming brand will be featured inside the team’s Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse home arena. The firm will be present on the Cavaliers’ TV and radio game programming, as well as on digital and social channels and other marketing assets.
It will also be the presenting partner of Cavs Pick ‘Em, a free-to-play live predictive gaming platform focused on the Cavaliers.
