Atlantic City Taj Mahal is facing a new start under the Hard Rock brand.
US.- Atlantic City Taj Mahal casino and hotel announced the beginning of a new face as its current operator, Hard Rock, will start the revamping plan next week. The classic facade will be demolished soon and will be replaced by distinguished Hard Rock International brand, as investor Joseph Jingoli revealed.
Operators of Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Atlantic City presented the plans during the Casino Reinvestment’s public hearing on Tuesday morning. “The project will generate more than 1,000 union construction jobs,” Jingoli said, according to Press of Atlantic City. “We expect to open during the summer of 2018.”
“This is extremely important to us,” Jingoli added. “What we are doing is building a state of the art entertainment complex, casino and hotel and having the support of the CRDA in the Entertainment district is going to allow us do more to the project.”
The 2018 Memorial Day opening might include restaurant and poolside gambling, fantasy sports betting, skill-based slots and hidden VIP gambling rooms. During a conference earlier this year, Chairman of Hard Rock International Jim Allen said that the proposal is set to create 3000 permanent jobs. The opening would also include approximately 2400 slots and 130 gaming tables.
