FanDuel Sportsbook to open at Mohegan Sun Casino
The launch will be held on March 5 with betting to start immediately.
US.- FanDuel is set to launch its sportsbook at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut on March 5. The opening event will feature celebrity guests and the start of betting.
The 11,000 square feet sportsbook has 39 betting kiosks and 222 seats as well as a bar. There are six cashier windows and 39 betting kiosks that are available 24 hours a day. The venue will feature a 140-foot tall TV for live NFL, NBA and MMA matches.
The ring announcer Michael Buffer, former Heavyweight champion Larry Holmes, former New England Patriot Max Lane, and Dan Koppen will be present at the opening. NFL wide receiver Chris Hogan, who played in the championship winning 2017 New England Patriots side will also be there.
A parade will be held at the casino, from Sky Tower hotel lobby to the new sportsbook. There will be a champagne toast held by Michael Buffer.
