EGT Interactive is always working on new projects

The start of 2021 has offered something of a milestone for EGT Interactive. The online casino games supplier has just launched its first slot game produced entirely in-house – a classic slot with a couple of modern twists.

Senior product manager Yordan Georgiev spoke about the work behind the game’s development in an interview for the Focus Gaming News YouTube channel.

“We’ve grown a lot and decided to try something new and produce in-house directly, from design to implementation,” Georgiev  says.

EGT Interactive has built a name for adapting land-based casino games for the online sphere. When setting out to produce its first in-house slot it decided it needed to be a classic with some special features to stand out.

20 Golden Coins is a classic fruit slot with five reels, with notable features including ambient music and a mystery nudge on the last reel.

The game has two bonus symbols, golden coins and a piggy bank in addition to the classic symbols to give players an extra chance to win.

“It’s a great classic slot game that I hope will be liked by our players,” Georgiev says.

Is this just the first of many? Georgiev says that EGT Interactive is already working on follow-up projects so we can expect to see more in-house productions from the supplier.
