Edmond Ghulyan, CEO at Relum, shares the company’s expansion strategy and innovations ahead of SiGMA Central Europe.

Exclusive interview.- Relum’s team is heading to SiGMA Central Europe with a clear goal: to present the company’s evolving igaming ecosystem and strengthen partnerships across the region. In the following interview, Edmond Ghulyan, CEO at Relum, discusses with Focus Gaming News the company’s latest product advancements, including an upgraded Jackpot Engine and enhanced aggregation tools, and outlines Relum’s strategic focus on localisation, compliance, and sustainable growth in Central and Eastern Europe.

What will be your main focus at SiGMA Central Europe this year?

We’re not exhibiting with a stand this year, but our key management team will be present at the event, meeting with pre-scheduled partners and visitors. At SiGMA Central Europe, we’ll be presenting our full range of igaming solutions that are designed to enhance player engagement, streamline operations, and support sustainable business growth.

Relum’s API-driven platform combines a fully customisable front end with a sophisticated back-office system. It unifies game aggregation, operational tools, and a dynamic suite of gamification and promotional features into one powerful ecosystem.

Over the past year, we’ve invested heavily in evolving and technically advancing our products, and the results have been significant. That’s why we truly value the opportunity to meet partners face-to-face and show these advancements in person.

Could you highlight a few of those specific features or updates that have made the biggest impact?

We’ve experienced rapid growth this year, not just in the number of providers we’ve added to our portfolio, but also in terms of market expansion, certifications, and platform features. As part of our commitment to delivering value to partners, we continue to enhance our aggregation platform with a strong focus on game management, portfolio expansion, entry into new jurisdictions, and constant improvements to our engagement tools.

Some of the major updates this year focus on our Relum Jackpot Engine. We’ve made it far more flexible and customisable, allowing partners to create their own jackpot templates instead of using fixed, built-in ones. We also introduced a new Jackpot Widget Builder, which lets partners design and preview widgets in real time, adjust layouts, reorder games, and fine-tune styling to match their brand. Alongside these upgrades, we’ve also implemented several technical improvements to boost overall performance and reliability of our products, which we plan to present at the event.

What’s your strategy for expansion in Central and Eastern Europe?

Central and Eastern Europe is a very strategic region for us because it combines mature regulated markets with fast-growing emerging ones. Our approach is built on three pillars: localisation, partnerships, and regulatory readiness.

We’re partnering with local operators and platforms who understand regional player behaviour. At the same time, we’re adapting our platform to suit local payment methods, interface languages, market-specific game preferences, and responsible gaming standards.

We’re also focusing on regulatory research and local certifications to ensure full compliance in every market we enter. This includes adapting our reporting systems to meet the specific requirements of local authorities—the most recent example being the certification of our Jackpot Engine in Greece, where regulations and technical standards are particularly strict. For us, expansion isn’t just about entering markets quickly – it’s about doing it responsibly, sustainably, and building long-term partnerships with our partners.

What are the key trends emerging in casino innovation, and how is Relum positioning itself to stay ahead of them?

We’re seeing several key trends shaping casino innovation today—personalisation through data, modular and scalable platforms, AI-driven analytics, and social elements like leaderboards and tournaments. Players expect faster, more tailored experiences, while operators are looking for tools that offer flexibility, transparency, and long-term sustainability.

The short answer is that we’re positioning ourselves ahead of these trends by continuously investing in technology, talent, and compliance. Since the start of the year, we’ve grown our team, expanded our network of providers, and secured new certifications.

At SiGMA Central Europe, we will also be presenting solutions that use data-driven personalisation, predictive analytics, and modular systems that can quickly adapt to regulatory updates and evolving market demands.

“We’re positioning ourselves ahead of these trends by continuously investing in technology, talent, and compliance.”
