The firm has announced that it will launch its online sportsbook in the state on November 23, pending regulatory approvals.

US.- DraftKings has announced that it expects to launch its online sportsbook in Maryland on November 23, pending receipt of regulatory approvals. The launch will follow a mandatory early access test period from November 21 to 22.

DraftKings hopes its Sportsbook app will be live ahead of the NFL action on Thanksgiving Day on November 24. It will offer a variety of bets, including same-game parlays, player props and odds boost selections across collegiate sporting events and professional sports leagues, including the NFL, NHL, and NBA.

Last year, DraftKings and the Baltimore Ravens signed a deal making DraftKings the team’s Official Daily Fantasy Sports, Sports Betting and Free-to-Play Partner.

Online sports betting in Maryland could launch in time for Thanksgiving after the Maryland Sports Wagering Application Review Commission (SWARC) awarded licences to 10 operators. The SWARC awarded the licences at a meeting yesterday (November 16), subject to final review by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

After the SWARC meeting, governor Larry Hogan said that online sports betting launch could launch in time for November 24.
