Delta to operate casino in Nepal
After a signed MoU, Delta has become the operator of a new casino at the Marriot hotel in Kathmandu.
Nepal.- Everest Hospitality and Hotel Pvt Ltd revealed that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Delta Group, which establishes that the latter will operate a casino close to the Marriot hotel that it’s being built in Naxal, Kathmandu.
Everest said in a press statement that the MoU was signed in Tuesday in order to bring a luxury hotel and a world class casino entertainment to Nepal. The facility is expected to start operating in June 2018. “Implementing the Marriott brand standards, designed by renowned architects and utilizing the best construction companies, the hotel consists of state of the art services including spa, casino, and variety of restaurants, swimming pool, gym, exclusive suites and lounges,” said the statement
“The Delta Group, owned by Delta Corp Ltd, featuring India’s largest offshore casinos has redefined gaming and hospitality services in India. It is the only public listed company in this space.”
Delta Group’s properties include three offshore casinos and one land based in Goa, as well as a live casino in Sikkim with more than 250 gaming tables and slot machines and 2000 gaming positions.
