Delaware sports betting handle falls 57% month-on-month in February
Delaware reported a handle of $5.4m for February. Revenue fell to $54,281.
US.- Delaware’s sports betting handle fell 547 per cent month-on-month in February. Players wagered $5.4m, compared to January‘s $12.6m. Of the total handle, $5.2m was bet on sportsbooks and $205,583 at sports lottery retailers.
February’s sports betting revenue was $54,281, down 97.2 per cent from January’s $1.9m, with sportsbooks netting $98,135, while lottery retailers lost $43,854.
Dover Downs dethroned Delaware Park to lead the ranking in February, with net revenue of $44,305 from 43,683 wagers. Delaware Park recorded $35,200 in net revenue from 81,778 wagers down 91 per cent from $391,000 in January. Harrington Raceway recorded $18,000 in revenue from 35,281 wagers.
There is no online sports betting market in Delaware.
