Delaware reports good iGaming performance

The state’s iGaming performance registered strong revenue during January’s operations.

US.- The Delaware Lottery revealed that January was a strong month for its iGaming operations, as revenue increased 57.9% year-on-year to US$279 million, and 11.2% up from December 2018.

The Lottery said that players wagered US$7.4 million at the state’s three licensed iGaming locations in January, totalling a 65.5% year-on-year rise. However, that number also represents a 27.8% decline from the US$10.3 million wagered in December 2018. Player registrations posted a significant 117.2% increase to 578 in January.

Video lottery took the biggest share of the monthly revenue, with 68% of the total to US$190k, folowed by table games’ US$66.9k and Poker rake and fees’ US$22.3k.

Dover Downs was once again the facility that registered the biggest revenue: it posted US$129.8k in January 2019, up from the US$48.2k registered in January 2018. Harrington also increased its revenue from US$24.k to US$65k, though it also represents a 3.5% month-on-month fall. On the other hand, Delaware Park reported a 28.8% year-on-year decrease to US$74.6k.
