The Colorado venue has started accepting reservations for its 300-room hotel.

US.- Chamonix Casino Hotel in Cripple Creek, Colorado, is scheduled to open to the public on December 26. The venue has announced that it has started accepting reservations for its 300-room hotel.

Located adjacent to Bronco Billy’s Casino, Chamonix will feature a new casino gaming area, a restaurant operated by chef Barry Dakake, a rooftop pool and spa, an entertainment and meeting space, a 5,100-square-foot ballroom and 300 guest rooms and suites.

Baxter Lee, general manager of Chamonix Casino and Hotel, said: “We are so incredibly proud and excited to unveil this beautiful property. Cripple Creek is an area with a rich history that we wanted to honor with this new property. We set out to create a casino and hotel that the residents of this town can be proud of. Colorado sports betting handle hits $306.1m in August

Colorado’s sports betting handle totalled $306.1m in August. That’s an increase of 5.5 per cent year-on-year and 8.9 per cent from July 2022. Players bet $304.2m online during August, with the remaining $1.9m was wagered via retail sportsbooks.

The Colorado Department of Revenue reported that gross gaming revenue was $25.9m, level with the same month last year and up 3.6 per cent from July 2023. Online operators reported gross gaming revenue of $25.6m.
