Century Casinos plans expansion in Missouri
After purchasing properties near its riverboat, Century Casino Caruthersville is planning to expand onto land.
US.- Century Casino Caruthersville in Missouri is set to take advantage of recent changes in regulation and expand onto land from its riverboat casino.
The company recently purchased a property near its floating casino – the last in the state – in order to move ahead with long-anticipated plans for a land-based development.
Missouri recently updated legislation for casinos, eliminating the requirement for them to be floating venues. Century Casino Caruthersville has bought a two-story hotel and four houses.
Lyle Randolph, managing director, said: “This new development in Caruthersville has been a dream of ours for many years and we are grateful to Century Casinos for their commitment to our community and team members.”
