The company’s Business Development Manager in LatAm discusses the company’s strategy ahead of SBC Summit Rio 2026. She also addresses regulatory challenges, AI integration, and the role of compliant, market-ready solutions in driving sustainable growth.

Exclusive interview.- In an exclusive interview with Focus Gaming News, Carla Dualib, business development manager in LatAm at SOFTSWISS, outlines the company’s objectives for SBC Summit Rio, highlighting its long-term positioning in Brazil and across Latin America. The conversation explores market regulation, product localisation, AI-driven development, and the key growth opportunities shaping the igaming ecosystem in emerging regulated markets.

As SOFTSWISS prepares to appear as a certified igaming solutions provider at SBC Summit Rio, what are your main goals for the event, both in terms of partnerships and market positioning in Brazil?

SOFTSWISS comes to SBC Summit Rio 2026 under the “Power Your Growth in LatAm” agenda, positioning itself as a long-term technology partner for operators building sustainable businesses in regulated Latin American markets.

Brazil is a key priority for us. Our results in the first year of regulation speak for themselves: by the end of 2025, SOFTSWISS had already signed more than 30 commercial agreements with operators targeting the country. At the same time, our certified Game Aggregator continues to expand its portfolio month by month, giving operators access to an increasingly broad selection of compliant content.

At the summit, we will also place a strong focus on the SOFTSWISS Sportsbook. Our goal is to demonstrate not only the strength of our standalone solutions, but also how operators can benefit from a seamless, compliant player journey between sportsbook and casino – especially during major sports periods, when betting audiences often expand their engagement into casino products as well.

All SOFTSWISS solutions are designed to support regulated market requirements, and our compliance-ready approach is already reflected in our expansion across Brazil and other key jurisdictions in the region, including Peru and Mexico. I will also be speaking at the panel discussion “2026 World Cup: First Kick in a Newly Regulated Market,” which is highly relevant to how the market is evolving.

The Brazilian igaming market is rapidly evolving under newly regulated frameworks. From your perspective, what are the key opportunities and challenges for SOFTSWISS in this landscape?

Brazil offers enormous potential, but it is also a market where the complexity is real. The regulatory transition naturally creates challenges – from operational uncertainty and differing interpretations across the ecosystem to the need for alignment between industry stakeholders.

That said, these challenges are solvable. SOFTSWISS does not plan to simply adapt passively. We aim to be an active contributor to the market’s development through ongoing dialogue, education, collaboration, and by providing the technical solutions operators need to meet regulatory expectations while staying competitive.

With your expansion efforts across Latin America, how does SOFTSWISS balance regional diversity in player preferences and regulatory requirements when designing its products and services?

The balance comes from combining deep analytics with strong technical execution. Latin America is not a single market – it is a region with very different player behaviour patterns, product expectations, and regulatory frameworks.

A strong example of our ability to adapt is the fact that SOFTSWISS was among the first to obtain certification for its Game Aggregator in Brazil. This reflects our flexibility and our ability to meet compliance requirements while continuing to deliver a product that performs commercially.

At the same time, we know how to localise global expertise. Our analytical work helps us understand what matters most in each market and ensures that product decisions are grounded in real operational needs, not assumptions.

In your recent 2026 igaming Trends Report, AI integration and regulatory shifts are highlighted as major market drivers. How do these trends influence your product roadmap or go-to-market strategies for 2026?

We take a very practical approach. We start with what operators in regulated markets truly need: predictable delivery, stable performance, and compliance-ready solutions.

AI is a key part of our internal development strategy for 2026. SOFTSWISS has elevated AI as a strategic direction by introducing a dedicated Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO) role, separate from the CTO function. This separation helps us maintain technical stability and operational excellence, while still accelerating innovation and embedding AI into workflows across the company – from product and engineering to back-office processes.

For us, AI is not a buzzword. It is a tool to improve execution speed, consistency, and the quality of delivery for partners.

Looking ahead, where do you see the biggest growth areas within the igaming ecosystem, particularly in emerging markets such as Brazil, and how is SOFTSWISS preparing to capitalise on them?

Geographically, we see continued momentum across Latin America – not only in Brazil, but also in markets such as Mexico, Peru, and Argentina, where operators are actively building for the next stage of growth.

From a technology perspective, the industry is accelerating, and so are expectations. SOFTSWISS has made expanding its footprint across regulated markets a core part of its 2026 strategy, combining compliant, market-ready products with advanced analytics and tailored service.

A key operational focus for us is technology execution: improving development speed, shortening delivery cycles, and maintaining stable performance as products evolve. This approach has already been reflected in a record Sportsbook delivery completed in 14 calendar days – from contract signing to the first bet.

We are also strengthening the partner experience. Recent research shows high satisfaction levels across our solutions, including an 8.3 out of 10 client satisfaction score for the SOFTSWISS Casino Platform and a Customer Satisfaction Score of 9 out of 10 for the SOFTSWISS Game Aggregator. In 2026, we plan to raise the bar even further –  across performance, delivery, commercial support, and day-to-day collaboration –  reinforcing a partner-first model where SOFTSWISS and operators work as one team, aligned around shared outcomes and long-term growth.
