Caesars Sportsbook partners with the New York Mets
Caesars Entertainment has agreed to a multi-year partnership with the New York Mets, which includes an in-stadium sportsbook.
US.- Caesars Entertainment and the New York Mets have announced a multi-year partnership to make Caesars Sportsbook an Official Sports Betting Partner of the team. The agreement includes plans to open a sportsbook lounge at Citi Field – Caesars Sportsbook at the Metro Grille.
The 13,000 square-foot sportsbook will open its doors at some point during the 2022 season, which starts today (April 7). The sportsbook will include a multi-tiered dining room and outdoor patio seating. Caesars will have access to Mets logos and trademarks and will be able to place its own branding around the Citi Field stadium and on social media channels.
Chris Holdren, co-president at Caesars Digital, stated: “New York is a key state for us following the successful launch of our Caesars Sportsbook app in January. The Mets’ fanbase is one of the most loyal in baseball and this partnership offers us the chance to treat those passionate fans like Caesars. We look forward to opening our space at Citi Field during an exciting time for the franchise.”
Caesars Sportsbook is an authorised MLB gaming operator of the MLB and is currently live in 23 states and jurisdictions, 17 of which are mobile. It operates the largest number of retail sportsbooks in the US.
Caesars Sportsbook was among the first sports betting operators to launch in the state of New York on the day mobile sports wagering went live.

Online sports betting in NY
Players in New York wagered $1.52bn online in March. That’s a slight drop from the $1.54bn handle in February and down 6.8 per cent from the national record of nearly $1.7bn that New York set in January.
The numbers from the New York State Gaming Commission show gross gaming revenue of $91.7m, an improvement from $82.4m in February but lower than the $113m reached in January. Since the market launched on January 8, players have spent a total of $4.68bn wagering on sports online, with gross gaming revenue from this reaching $314.6m.
