Caesars opens new Monmouth Park sportsbook in New Jersey

US.- Caesars Entertainment and Monmouth Park have celebrated the opening of a trackside Caesars Sportsbook at Monmouth Park in Oceanport, New Jersey. Local dignitaries took part in a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The new venue adjacent to the Monmouth Park clubhouse has 16,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor sports viewing space. It has more than 25 self-service betting kiosks, a bar and a VIP section. There’s also a Shake Shack location.

In 2018, Monmouth Park accepted the state’s first legal in-person sports wager following the overturning of the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA).

Dan Shapiro, senior vice president and chief development officer at Caesars Digital, said: “It’s fitting to open this cutting-edge venue at Monmouth Park, where legal sports betting in New Jersey first launched, and add to its rich history. New Jersey gaming revenue rises in October

Gaming revenue for casinos, racetracks, and their partners in October was $611.1m. That’s an increase of 22.3 per cent year-over-year and 8.4 per cent from September 2025.

Gross revenue taxes reached $88.2m. the casino win for the nine casino hotels was $234.7m, up 12.5 per cent year-over-year. The internet gaming win totalled $260.3m up 21.8 per cent. Sports wagering gross revenue was $116.1m, up 49.8 per cent. Year-to-date total gaming revenue was $5.74bn, up 10 per cent .
