BetMGM names AJ Andrews as brand ambassador and content creator

The sports betting and digital gaming company has signed a deal with Major League Baseball Network (MLBN) personality.

US.- Sports betting and digital gaming company BetMGM has announced the signing of Major League Baseball Network (MLBN) personality AJ Andrews as the company’s newest brand ambassador and content creator.

Andrews, who is the first woman to win the Rawlings Gold Glove Award, will represent BetMGM in broadcast opportunities and social media content. She will also participate in fan events in the upcoming baseball season.

Andrews began her professional career with the Chicago Bandits in 2015 and the following year made history with the Akron Racers as the first woman to win a Rawlings Gold Glove Award.

Matt Prevost, BetMGM chief revenue officer, said: “AJ is an all-around powerhouse who has been a trailblazer in sports throughout her career. BetMGM is proud to welcome her to the team as a new personality in sports betting.”

Andrews commented: “I am so grateful for the opportunity to dive further into the sports betting industry as a brand ambassador for BetMGM. As I continue to advocate for more opportunities for women in sports, I’m excited to have this new platform to creatively share and inspire others.”

In March, BetMGM signed a partnership with National Hockey League (NHL) MVP Connor McDavid. The captain of the Edmonton Oilers became BetMGM’s brand ambassador and part of the operator´s marketing campaigns.

McDavid participates in fan events, social media content, and promotions. He became the first active professional athlete from the four North American major sports leagues to join BetMGM as a brand ambassador.

BetMGM launches mobile app in Illinois

BetMGM has launched its online sports wagering platform in Illinois. Customers in the state can access a variety of betting options and to earn experiences at MGM Resorts. The BetMGM app allows players to customise pre-game, live in-play, futures and parlay wagers.

Players can engage in BetMGM’s exclusive free-to-play contests and the One Game Parlay product where players combine their wagers on a single game to earn larger payouts. They can also earn BetMGM Rewards points that can be redeemed for experiences at MGM resorts properties.
