The property has transitioned from a riverboat to a new land-based casino.

US.- Bally’s Marquette has opened in Iowa. The launch of the $26.2m venue completes the transition from the Casino Queen Marquette riverboat to land. During the opening event, guests, community leaders, and team members celebrated more than three decades of gaming history and the venue’s next chapter on land.

Vice president and general manager Robin Corbeil cut the ribbon alongside Brittany Hemmer, mayor of Marquette, and Elizabeth Breitbach, president of the Upper Mississippi Gaming Corporation board of directors. There was live entertainment and a fireworks show over the river.

The Queen Marquette received approval from the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission to move to land in January 2023. Located at 100 Anti Monopoly Street, the 31,280-square-foot permanent property features a two-level gaming floor with more than 400 slot machines, electronic table games, live blackjack, Ultimate Texas Hold ’Em and a sportsbook. It has four dining and beverage venues: the 1994 Sports Bar, Sidecar Bar, and Benchfront Coffee and Riverside Grill.
