Bally’s Marquette to open in Iowa this week
The new land-based casino replaces the Casino Queen Marquette riverboat.
US.- Bally’s Marquette in Iowa will open on March 13. The launch follows a $26.2m relocation from the Casino Queen Marquette riverboat into a new permanent land-based property.
The Queen Marquette received approval from the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission to move to land in January 2023. The 31,280-square-foot venue will have more than 400 slot machines and electronic table games, live blackjack and Ultimate Texas Hold ‘Em and a sportsbook. There’s also the 1994 Sports Bar, Sidecar Bar and Benchfront Coffee and Riverside Grill for fast-casual American options.
The opening event will include live music and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. General manager Robin Corbeil said: “The official transformation to Bally’s Marquette represents a defining moment for our team, guests and the community. With our move ashore complete, Bally’s Marquette delivers a modern gaming experience, expanded dining offerings and a welcoming atmosphere that honours our riverfront roots while positioning us for the future.”
