Bally’s Corporation launches mobile sportsbook in Colorado
The casino giant has launched its mobile sportsbook product for users in the state of Colorado.
US.- Bally’s Corporation has announced the launch of its mobile sportsbook product, Bally Bet, in Colorado.
To develop its new product, Bally’s acquired Bet.Works, a technology platform, whose CEO, David Wang, will become the CEO of Bally’s Interactive once the deal is closed.
Bally Bet will offer options for all the major sports through in-app parlay games and integrated social features.
Users will also be able to win points through betting on sports that can be redeemed for gaming, dining, retail and other amenities at Bally’s Golden Gates, Golden Gulch and Mardi Gras casinos in Black Hawk, Colorado.
According to the company, three more markets will see the Bally’s sportsbook brand this year with more launches in 2022.
Bally’s continues to expand IT assets
With the launch of Bally Bet, Bally’s is consolidating the technological transformation of the company. It has recently merged with the online software development and gaming business Gamesys Group after acquiring it for over $2.7bn.
CEO of Gamesys, Lee Fenton, has become CEO of the combined company. George Papanier, the CEO of Bally’s has moved into a new role running the company’s land-based casino properties.
When the merger was announced, the company stated: “Bally’s and Gamesys believe that having a combination of both proven, developed technology and land-based platforms across key US states, with global brands, existing customer bases and complementary product offerings will be key to taking advantage of these growth opportunities.”
Bally’s has acquired several companies in the past year, including SportCaller, Bet.Works and Monkey Knife Fight.
