Bally’s Baton Rouge Casino and Hotel rebrands ahead of reopening
The permanent casino will open in December.
US.- Bally’s has completed the rebrand of Belle of Baton Rouge in Louisiana to Bally’s Baton Rouge Casino and Hotel ahead of its reopening in December. The $141m project included relocating the casino from the Mississippi River to land.
The new venue will feature 25,000 square feet of gaming space, with slots and table games, a sportsbook with a 46-foot big screen and 14 betting kiosks and a 500-space parking garage.
There’s a10-storey hotel with 242 rooms and suites, and dining options including Hearth Pizzeria, Shuck’s Oyster Bar, curated wine bar Vintage 1806, Maritime Coffee, and The Terrace, an open-air dining area overlooking the casino floor. The property will open pending final approval from the Louisiana Gaming Control board.

Louisiana gaming revenue rises in August
The Louisiana Gaming Control Board (LGCB) announced that the state’s casinos, riverboats and racetrack slot machines generated $214.8m in adjusted gross revenue (AGR) in August. That’s a rise of 11.5 per cent from the same month in 2024 and 8.16 per cent sequentially.
Riverboat casinos reported $160.9m in revenue, up 9.2 per cent year-on-year and 6.56 per cent compared to July. L’Auberge Lake Charles led the market with over $30m, an increase of 15.7 per cent year-on-year. It was followed by Golden Nugget Lake Charles, up 5.6 per cent year-on-year to $27.1m. Treasure Chest Casino reported $14m, up 12.9 per cent.
